Couple claim they caught 'chupacabra'

A Texas man says he has captured the mythical "chupacabra" alive, and he has made believers of some residents, according to video from geobeats.

The creature, which is being kept in a cage by Ratcliffe residents Jackie Stock and her husband, Bubba, has a hairless back, long claws and a ferocious growl.

"I hunted coons for 20 years with dogs and I ain't ever seen anything that looks like that right there," one resident says.

The Stocks hope to confirm if it indeed a chupacabra, which means "goat sucker" in Spanish.
However, wildlife experts already are dismissing the claims, geobeats says. One expert says it resembles a small dog, fox or coyote.

In a similar case, photos of a creature earlier this year led residents to believe there was a chupacabra in the Houston area.
